We get a lot of emails and comments on this post (which have subsequently been turned off) asking us to cancel a Noom account. To cancel an account, you need to work with Noom directly. There is nothing we can do to help you other than provide these directions.

Have you ever wanted to cancel a subscription, only to get the runaround? In this post, I am going to show you how to cancel Noom as I had to do this recently and I can show you how easy it is to do.

Noom offers a 14-day trial and a variety of pricing plans to fit your budget. The Noom trial is ideal if you want to test the waters and try the program out. I recently completed a review of the Noom weight loss program, and test drove the system for firsthand knowledge.

When you sign up for the 14-day trial with Noom, they do ask for credit card information. Noom will not charge your credit card until after you have completed the trial period. As soon as your trial is over, your card will be processed (auto-recurring) depending on which pricing plan you signed up for, one month, two months, six months, etc.

One of the great things about Noom is the variety of pricing plans that they offer, so you only pay for what you need. But, the longer you commit, the less expensive on a by month basis the subscription is.

With that said, let’s walk through canceling your Noom diet plan.

Step 1 – Install the Noom app

Whether it’s a trial or an active subscription, you need to have the Noom app installed to cancel your subscription. If you don’t have the app installed, you can head over to the App Store, or Google Play Store, search for Noom and download it.

Once you have the app installed, you will sign in with the email address you used to sign up when you created your Noom account. Now you are ready to cancel Noom.

Step 2 – Send a message to your Goal Specialist

To get in touch with your Goal Specialist, tap the blue chat bubble in the top right corner of the Noom app. From there you will tap on either Concierge Eva or your Goal Specialists name and enter your message requesting to cancel.

My Noom cancellation request

They will send you a link to cancel, simple as that. After your subscription is officially canceled, you will receive a message confirming your cancellation.

Noom cancelation confirmation

Don’t see the chat bubble?

If you don’t see the blue chat bubble in the top right corner, you need to redeem you UPID, or Unique Program ID to cancel. You may see this instead.

To redeem your UPID, check your email for a message from Noom titled “Here’s your Noom Unique Program ID.” Once you have the UPID, you will need to enter this into your account within the app.

If you are using an iPhone, go to “Home” then tap “Settings,” there you can enter your UPID where it says “Redeem Unique Program ID.”

For Android, the same thing, but you will find “Redeem Unique Program ID” under “Account,” so go to Home>Settings>Account and enter your UPID there.

Once you see the blue chat bubble, you are ready to go. Send a message in chat requesting to cancel.

Other things to note

Uninstalling the app does not stop your subscription, so your credit card will still be charged unless you have a confirmation from Noom that your subscription has been canceled. If you downloaded the app and signed up for your subscription in-app, you can manage your subscription through your app store. If you don’t see a subscription, you will need to contact your coach to cancel.

No refunds

There are no refunds so, please keep this in mind when you decide to sign up for your Noom subscription. Choose a plan that best fits with your weight loss goals. There are several different pricing plans. You can choose a program that is monthly, all the way up to an annual plan.

When you cancel, you will have access to Noom until the end of your billing period. If you signed up for a monthly plan, you would have access to Noom until the end of your monthly cycle. If you have an annual plan, then you would get to use Noom for the remainder of your year commitment.

That’s all there is to canceling your Noom subscription. It’s really easy. I always get a little nervous when I sign up for trial offers and want to cancel, but with Noom canceling was a snap.

    • Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I recommend you click here and choose “I want to”…then “cancel my subscription”. Then you will see the instructions which you have already tried. Below that you will see “Did this answer your question”? Select “No”, then you can enter your email address and explain that you have tried to cancel your subscription through the app, with no success.

You can also reach out to support@noom.com

Also, if you go to noom.com, at the bottom of the page, you can reach out on social media if that is an option for you.

      I hope this helps.

    • Hi Janet. You will receive a system generated message confirming your cancellation in the Noom app (just like the screenshot in the article). You can also reach out to support@noom.com to confirm the cancellation. I hope this helps.

    • Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Have you tried reaching out to Noom on social media, Twitter, etc? If you have tried following the instructions, and reaching out to Noom support directly, then contacting your bank is probably the next step.
