I purchased the Snuggle-Pedic Pillow a few months ago since I have trouble sleeping due to back pain. In this Snuggle-Pedic Pillow review, I will walk you through what I think makes this body pillow so unique and how it may be able to help you get a better night of sleep.
I have been dealing with back problems since 1999, sciatic nerve pain mostly. Over the past 20 years, I have tried a number of products and treatment options to help me sleep. For some reason, I never gave a body pillow a second thought. Then, someone suggested I look into Snuggle-Pedic’s full body pillow.
Sleeping has been a challenge for me over the years, finding a comfortable position is never easy. My challenge is more than average as my sciatic nerve is a constant source of back pain. I have tried a lot of different sleeping positions and have even had to resort to sleeping on the couch, or in a recliner at times.
Whatever I can do to get a good night of sleep, I am willing to try.
One sleeping position that works well for me is the fetal position. Sleeping on my side has presented, me with the challenge of finding a pillow that will work well between my legs. I have tried standard pillows, but they are often not firm or big enough. I’ve also attempted to use knee pillows, but I move around a lot and have to keep adjusting the pillow at night.

Unboxing
The pillow comes in a very compact, vacuum sealed package. I was pretty surprised when it arrived at how small it was and honestly I was a little nervous. The bag was pretty darn heavy for the size. I followed the instructions and opened the pillow and let the air do its thing. I didn’t take too long for the pillow to fully expand. 
The instructions also say you can put the pillow in the dryer to help fluff it up, which I did and I recommend you do, too.
Size
The pillow is 54 inches long which is an excellent size for me. I am just over six feet tall and this pillow fits me very well. I can wrap my arms and legs around it very easily. I tend to flip over during the night, switching between my left and right sides. When I do roll over to my other side, I take the pillow with me.
How to use
I have discovered that sleeping on my side is not the only way to sleep with this pillow. Maybe this is more than you want to know, but sometimes I lay on top of the pillow on my stomach, with my feet dangling off the end of the bed. Many people with back pain can’t sleep on their stomach, but with this pillow, this position works for me.
As you use the body pillow over time its adjusts, conforming to your body’s shape. It provides neck support orthopedically for side, stomach and back sleepers.
Pillow fill
The Snuggle-Pedic body pillow is filled with a shredded foam material which makes it heavy and dense. Given the filling’s density, this pillow should last a long time.
Importantly, the pillow is hypoallergenic and resistant to both dust and mites.
The pillow is also very soft and holds its shape which is another testament to the shredded foam stuffing. The foam filling is resilient and fluffs right back up after you use it. And, just as suggested when new, the pillow can easily be fluffed up with a quick tumble in a clothing dryer.
Warranty and return policy
Here is something that I did not expect. The Snuggle-Pedic pillow has a 120 day return policy. And, and this is incredible, it also has a 20 year warranty.
Care of the Snuggle-Pedic pillow (it’s easy)
The pillow is machine washable although I have not washed the pillow itself yet. I contacted Relief-Mart, makers of the pillow, and they told me the whole Snuggle-Pedic pillow can be machine washed and dried.
When washing the pillow use cold water on a gentle/delicate setting. They do caution that your washing machine should be well balanced as the fully soaked pillow can throw its balance off.
For drying, Relief-Mart recommends starting on medium heat and working your way up to high heat. Basically, you want it to take about as long as a large load of laundry to dry completely.
Tip: Before drying, squeezing the pillow can speed up drying by removing excess water.
If you purchase a cover to go along with the body pillow it is also machine washable.
The wife factor
I love my body pillow, and I love my wife. The pillow is enormous and it serves well as a barrier between my wife who is a very restless sleeper. She often calls my pillow “the great wall”, or her “competition.” The truth is I think there is a bit of jealousy. Maybe we’ll see a second Snuggle-Pedic pillow in our lives soon.

As a guy who has been living with chronic back pain for many years, I have found that this pillow helps me out at night. Sleeping on my side has become a favorite position with the addition of the Snuggle-Pedic pillow.
